D-Day Museum rebrands to move from “military” to “personal”
I absolutely love this brand identity. I love how you can see the link between Portsmouth and France through the mapping, but also graphically looks like a bullet has ripped through the letter D.

The vertical debit card design reflecting “how people bank today”
This idea is actually made me rethink the way we pay. The way cards are horizontal makes it fit right with the slide motion you can do with card machines, but with the use of contactless payment methods we angle our cards in a vertical positioning. Introducing a new format of card can give a culture shock and some people may not get used to it straight away but once the idea is in circulation the horizontal method will be a thing of the past.

3D-printed home built in 24 hours could tackle homelessness
I think this is a excellent jump in the progression of architecture and house builds. This could be executed on a large scale, either for future homes for general public or as this article explains about the homeless. Another question goes on how could we use recycled and environmentally friendly materials to build houses like this?

Lacoste swaps famous crocodile logo for ten endangered species
This is amazing how Lacoste have collabrated with a cause which is real force behind the extinction and endangered species. I know the money goes to a good cause but if I could afford to spend between £150 - £180 on a polo I'd have to get The California Condor, reminds me of Lyle and Scott but you know it's Lacoste,

Is the logo still the most important part of a brand’s image?
Personally I've noticed a trend of logotypes being really simplistic and almost grown up to be more corporate and adaptable. It's fastinating how looking back to logos with high usage of shadows and shines to more flat based type and symbols to do the talking.
