Handbook of Tyranny: highlighting modern day cruelties through infographics
This is more of a personal bookmark for a must buy purchase. I love info-graphics in this style, almost like a blueprint theme running throughout. The data that is behind this book is amazing, anything that puts things into prospective of reality is a winner for me. Straight to Amazon I think! *update* bought the book. excellent read so far and wonderful imagery!

British Rail’s Railfreight “moving brand” celebrated in new exhibition
I'm already pleased with the design for the British Rail with their use of typefaces and the colour scheme of every station. This would be a great exhibition to visit.

This New York City Scale Model Is made of Recycled Motherboards
This is probably one of the best pieces of art I've seen this year and in a while, I absolutely love this. The time and dedication that's gone into this is on a different level. Viewing this in person would be a delight too, I could spend hours looking at the small components on every block/street,

Janet Echelman Highlights the Impact of Time for '1.78 Madrid' Thread Sculpture
Isn't this just a beautiful sight to see, I would loved to of been there and to take pictures of this. I would be interesting to see how I could digitally illustrate over the top of an image of this and interact with it. Looking at more images of this, the sculpture looks amazing at night too!

The xx are curating a series of films for Copenhagen International Documentary Film festival
The XX produce artistic music with interesting sounds and meaning in the lyrics and video, I'm sure if they created a series of videos they'd have depth.
