As I was walking around the Malága, in Spain, I noticed Space Invader had been here. I've always been a massive fan of his work, using mosaic tiles to create invaders and pixelated artwork. I first saw his artwork when I was on school trip in Paris, I took photos but they were on my old phone which I do not have to this day unfortunatlly
It would be so breath taking to be able to collect all these murals into a exhibition but hosting them through a large projection onto a wall. I've always been a massive fan of murals and would love to apply my style of working into a large piece of artwork. Personally if there was a window or other objects on that wall I'd try and create a piece which would interact with those elements on the wall.
I think this is brilliant, they should be more enlarged items like this. Art installations like this will always brighten up the area. Being a massive fan of pool myself, this really appeals to me and more places throughout the world should do something similar to this.
It would be amazing to see a social media company to release something like this. Being the first and designing something that would be a success would change the course of social media. Having glasses that are linked up to your social media account is the next step in socialising. Having camera glasses would be hugely beneficial to people who record at gigs and festivals, it would allow you to embrace the moment a lot more than hanging your arms in the air.
I think this is a brilliant way to raise awareness for pollution. Taking something you put in your mouth or touch and relate that to a cause/problem that sits on the earth is one of the strongest ways to get the point across. An idea that comes to mind for me is having a virtual reality image of your living room and having fag buts and litter all over your floor to raise awareness for littering in public, you wouldn't litter in your own home.
As I was looking for something to watch whilst I was eating my tea, I came across this. Being interested in street art since secondary school, I thought I'd give this a watch. Saving Banksy is about the idea of how street art is treated, on and off the wall. This documentary follows the ambition of a guy who wants to save Banksy's 6ft rat by holding it for a museum, for public viewing. It was interesting to see how other street artists feel about Banksy and what other street
Having greenery around you, in your home, parks, shops, creates a sense of relaxation and in touch with your natural surroundings. I know from watching David Attenborough programmes, Singapore is all about the greenery and creating a connection with nature and the city. For Apple to correspond with the nature of Singapore allows Apple to fit within the city and come apart of the natural surroundings.
I didn't know that the scenes and backgrounds were individually hand painted. To get a glimpse into how these were painted and images showing the artists paint is absolutely breath taking. Being a Star Wars fan, seeing these in a exhibition would be a dream for me, I know for sure I would travel to get a chance, if, these were showcased.
I love the idea of taking things from classic cartoons and create a reality for them. If you've ever watched SpongeBob back in the day and you came across a real Krabby Patty, you would definitely be engaged. https://hypebeast.com/2017/6/binging-with-babish-spongebob-krabby-patty
