BALANS SKATEBOARD TRUCK COMPANY
This project was about how well I could work with other designers in collaboration and how we could build a brand around a word.
The word we got given was, 'balance' and what we decided to do was find common interests with each other, and see how balance could link in with a product or service.
We decided on skateboarding and the trucks being the centre of balancing. We wanted to create a brand that we can put a lot of passion into, if there is no passion, there is no brand. Once we were happy on what our brand is about, then we got given our target audience at random, which was '24-50', and the personality was 'conservative'.
We considered the target audience and personality, in which you can see through the brand identity. With the brand being aimed at, 24-50, we thought of the areas which our audience would interact with our advertising the most. so public transport and high volume traffic areas would be more suitable.
